There's one on eBay for sale for about $800. I wonder if it's be cheaper after shipping, import duty, etc

I know its been released for a bit now, any one purchase and install the warm/cool cup holder?

I bought this and have it in hand, but it is very intimidating since it actually requires removing the entire center stack and replacing some of the original components. I am going to the dealership tomorrow for a TSB and LIMP Mode issue I have encountered so I plan on asking the service manager if they would do the work and how much. After custom charges and S/H I received this for $659.00 through various communications of Korean sites. Instructions were included but nothing I can read. :p

Installation shouldn't be too difficult. I'm planning on picking one up when I visit Korea in a few months, should be able to pick it up below $500 :)
Good luck with the install!

Well I attempted to have the dealership install this and they cannot figure out the wiring for this. The instructions were not included and the only thing that was were directions of use and all in Korean. I was able to get it translated but nothing useful for actual install. Does anyone have insight or knowledge on how to install this or do I currently have a 600 + paperweight?

I just spoke with the dealership again and they cannot determine where to splice in for the harness. Here is the PDF that they sent me from scanned image. This only seems to translate into operations not install. I have spoke with so many people and no one has been able to assist. I have received many youtube videos showing after market installs and other cars but nothing vehicle specific.

That would be awesome if you can find something, I am about to throw in the towel on this conquest since the dealership is washing their hands on it. It has been there all day yesterday and they are giving me a little more time to find them something. I found this for them;
but that wasn't vehicle specific so they said it wouldn't apply. https://www.bobaedream.co.kr/view?code=best&No=260072 & http://www.tuixmall.com/info/installationview.do?type=car_shop&pk=59

I somehow missed this last question and I am sorry. Yes you are correct the tech has the console apart and he was trying to figure out what wires to tap into. It looks like the last picture you provided shows the yellow and grey/white one going to the green possibly but not sure on the red black I would imagine it would be the positive negative on that harness. Thanks again for your help so far as I never thought this would be such a pain in the ass to accomplish. I have the tailgate lamp too, so I am sure that will also be an issue with the wiring. SMH!

It seems like the Hyundai tech is throwing in the towel without specifics of what wires to splice into. I appreciate imxkal's help you provided, but I guess it is still not enough info for them to continue on. If you happen to get more information I would still like it and will take on this task myself.

Found a few naver blogs on the install. No really detail on how where to attach the wires. I posted some comments, hopefully the blog owners will reply soon. :)

The only thing that I had is the usage guide that I uploaded before hand. I was disappointed that this was the case when I used google translator from my phone. I spoke with a chat option that resales these too and they keep saying it is just plug and play. Obviously not the case.

The best I found was for a max cruz, which is the santa fe xl. Would you like to do some trial and error? Worst case would be a blown fuse.
actually, let me ask some people I know in Korea. Ill get back to you soon.
