Passenger Air Bag issies

Has anybody else had any issues with the passenger air bags being shown as "off" when a seat cushion is used??

Is there someone sitting there, or is it a package or purse?

If someone is sitting there, and they are not a small child, then it is an issue. If package then that is how it should be.
