There's little to be critical of, based on our initial experience. In fact, the greatest weaknesses that jumped out at us were typical or average for the class. Not many vehicles can make that claim.
That said, we wish the gear selector was the traditional leverlike type like in the Telluride, or at least easier to navigate without having to look at it.
The central silver buttons for infotainment modes, such as map, navigation, and radio, are difficult to read during the day when the text is not illuminated.
Space in the third-row is limited, which is usual for the class.

------------

I think the complaints about the gear selector buttons so many reviewers make may be more about finding something to criticize, so that they appear more balanced in their review. It isn't complicated: Reverse above Neutral above Drive, with Parking to the side. Can't really take long to get used to.

I actually like where the gear selector button is located which leaves more space for the center console area

Is it true that the steering wheel adjustment is still manual instead of power with memory. Very inconvenient if true, could be a deal breaker for me.

Caught me off guard too that the steering wheel adjustments were manual. No big deal for me because this is a set it and forget adjustment for the most part. I ordered a Limited AWD for my wife and this didn't bother her. I haven't adjusted the steering wheel in my 550I since I purchased it in 2017. :)

The lack of power mirrors and memory seats on the lower trims surprised me.

Concur regards power retracting mirrors. They are larger with more functions these days and more expensive to repair/replace. Getting them out of the way in parking garages, let alone your garage at home, with a selectable setting to stow when doors are locked was a big Hyundai omission.

Yes. Definitely manual. I have driven 2 Limiteds.
