Sadly (for me anyway), the Palisade Ltd that I wanted and bought does not have an option of the 2nd row bench seat. So that gap presents a problem for me as I'm planning to actually camping and sleep in it. Anyone dealt with it already or can suggest anything on how to close/fill it for a night? I'd prefer some kind of solid material piece rather than sticking a bunch blankets/sleeping bags or else in between. Don't have place/tools to produce something like that myself, so am looking for some kind of buyable solution. Thanks!

I noticed on eBay there are a lot of small center consoles, may want to check that out. I was looking at some myself.

When you go camping, do you need to be able to raise and lower the seats, or will they be down the whole time? If they're down the whole time with the bed always in place, a 1/4"-3/8" thick 2'x4' piece of particle board can be bought from your local home Depot type store for not much money and will work perfect for bridging the Gap.

that's is surely one way, saxman - thanks! I was thinking of some kind of filler that could double serve as some storage (like a bin). But even with the simple plywood board you mentioned it's not at all a big deal to remove and put it back later (on my Palisade Ltd it takes about 10 sec to drop both the 2nd and 3rd row flat. If at all, I'd be only raising the 2nd row, which is another 10 sec.)
Again, thanks.
